Moving company estimate template
Moving quotes go wrong on three things: how long it actually takes, what access is like at both ends, and what happens if something breaks. This template covers all three.

Copy the block above into a document, or skip the copy-paste — QuoteFlow fills it in, totals it, and gets it signed on the customer's phone.
Stop re-typing the same estimate
QuoteFlow keeps your line items, builds the PDF, and gets an e-signature before you leave the driveway. First 10 quotes free, then $29/month for unlimited.
Start using QuoteFlowBe explicit that hours are an estimate
An hourly move is not a fixed price, and customers routinely treat the quoted total as one. Say plainly on the estimate that billing is hourly with a stated minimum and that the hours are an estimate. Then give a realistic range rather than an optimistic one — under-quoting the hours produces a furious customer at the end of a long day.
Explain valuation coverage properly
Basic released-value coverage is roughly 60 cents per pound per article, which on a broken television is close to nothing. Customers assume they are fully insured. State the basic coverage on the estimate and offer full-value protection as a line item. This is the single biggest cause of complaints in the industry.
Survey the access at both ends
Stairs, lift bookings, parking permits, narrow driveways, long carries. Ask about both addresses and write the assumptions into the estimate. A move that assumed driveway parking and got a 200-foot carry runs hours over, and without a written assumption you have no basis to charge for it.
