Start using QuoteFlowRecord what you applied, not just what you charged
Most states require pest control operators to document the product, EPA registration number, application rate and target pest. Keep that on the service ticket and reference it on the invoice. It is a licensing requirement, and it is also the record that protects you if anyone later claims a sensitivity or misapplication.
Include the follow-up and show it as included
Show the 30-day follow-up as a zero-dollar line rather than leaving it off. The customer sees value they are getting for free, and you have written evidence of what was promised — which matters when they call in month four expecting the same.
Note the conditions you cannot fix
A leaking pipe, firewood stacked against the house, an unsealed crawlspace. Treatment fails against conditions that keep inviting pests back, and the customer will blame the chemistry. Write the conditions in the inspection notes and reference them. It converts a future callback into a conversation you have already had.
