Tree work carries genuine risk of destroying a roof or worse, and the homeowner is liable if an uninsured crew is hurt on their property. Most customers do not know this. Put your general liability and workers' compensation on the estimate and offer certificates. It is the single strongest reason a customer pays your price instead of half of it to someone unlicensed.
Access is most of the price
The same tree costs three times more in a fenced back garden with no equipment access than in an open front yard. Price the access method explicitly — crane, bucket or climbing — so the customer understands they are paying for the method, not the trunk. Otherwise your quote just looks arbitrary next to a competitor who has not looked at the back.
Be clear about the stump and the grindings
Removal and stump grinding are separate jobs, and grindings are a surprisingly large pile of material. Say whether the stump is included, how deep you grind, and whether you are taking the grindings away. Three lines that prevent the most common tree service complaint there is.
